There is work being done on my SHELBY F. SQUIRREL books.
After Amazon so nicely screwed my up 1 1/2 years ago by accidentally removing both my KDP and personal accounts, things are slowly moving along.
Uploading to IngramSpark, being helped with that because their platform is not user-friendly. They offer what's been listed to outside dealers, hence the pirated copies that appeared on Amazon. I've notified that company, Rarewaves, that they are violating copypright, and received a promise to delist my books. Still waiting on that. To sell on my behalf is fine but only if I receive the small royalty due to me. The name Rarewaves is no longer given as the company shipping and taking returns, it now says Amazon.
But we are going to add stickers/seals of approval saying Author Verified Original on each cover to make a visible difference. This is all very slow, but it IS moving along.
No matter what is happening online, I have copies here that are ready and waiting to be put under the Christmas tree or be given as gifts for new babies, and kids with birthdays happening.
All will be autographed and personalized.

What are the best words to add on a book cover, in the form of a seal of approval?
My books have been pirated on Amazon and I want to be able to post them, but need to make a visible difference on the cover.

How Shelby and Petra meet: 'SHELBY MEETS HIS MATCH', the final story in 'The Complete Adventures of SHELBY F. SQUIRREL and Friends'. The following excerpt is just the last few paragraphs; Petra and Peter are being introduced to friends in the forest and on the farm. (The main story is how a call for help comes and Shelby rushes to see what the problem is, and finds a downed tree with branches blocking the nest hole of three flying squirrels.

Shelby noticed that Peter and Darby were chattering together comfortably as they went along.
Marvin kept reminding them how many more animals they could meet and tried to hurry them up a little. Molly and Polly had to go home to sleep. They had missed the night hunt after yesterday's excitement and wanted to be awake later.
It was late afternoon before Petra and Peter had met Squealer and his fellow oinkers. It was decided that the dairy barn and the swans would have to wait until another day.
Charlie ambled over to see how things were going. He nodded sagely to himself, seeing how very nicely everyone was getting along. He trotted through the forest as the squirrels floated happily back toward the new family's nest, with Marvin firmly attached to Shelby's back.
Both mothers were still there, making the finishing touches on the nest lining and patting a few more nuts into place on one side. Charlie spoke from below and they climbed down to greet him. "Well," he said, "it looks a lot like Shelby and Darby might have just found their mates. What do you think?" he asked.
It was agreed that he was probably right and that next spring, being grown up and ready, two pairs of adult flying squirrels would be busy building their very own nests in nearby trees. Mother sighed deeply and said to her new friend, “That would make me very happy! Very happy indeed!"

Shelby Flying Squirrel stirred, opened his eyes, squinted, and decided to close them again. The sun was already up but he lolled a little longer, enjoying the lazy feel of his warm bed. It was the middle of March, trees were still bare and the snow was melting fast. Spring was in the air; warm weather was just around the corner.
Shelby hadn't outgrown his love of early mornings and being active in the daytime, but he had to admit it was rather nice to sleep longer once in a while. He stretched lazily, and could easily have turned over and fallen asleep again.
Being a nocturnal animal meant he was more comfortable when it was dark, but since babyhood his curiosity and boundless energy had created a double life for him. And that influence had spread to his whole family and even to his other nocturnal friends, Molly and Polly Raccoon.
He rubbed his eyes and blinked a few times. And finally lifted his head to look around.
Petra, his mate, was already up, busy tidying the corner where winter supplies were stashed. Shelby smiled to himself. Petra loved the daylight and it was Shelby who had taught her to enjoy it. Just the sight of her touched his heart as he watched for a few moments without saying anything.
“How are you?” Shelby asked finally and Petra turned to peek at him. He was very protective of her, especially lately, because she had told him there would soon be babies in their little home.
“I'm fine, fit as a fiddle!” she answered with a bright smile, and went back to her task. Shelby would have liked to help, but she preferred to do the work herself, because she knew he would soon be hunting for both of them.
Petra felt like the luckiest mother-to-be in the whole world. Flying squirrel fathers traditionally left before babies were born, but Shelby was different and wanted to be there for Petra and their young ones, and he was really looking forward to being a parent. He told her he believed it was about time someone changed things. Deserting her was out of the question. He said he watched his own mother do everything with no help and wondered where his father was and why.
Shelby F. Squirrel was a special mate, and no question about it!
