New West Day of Dance

This page is to promote our free summer event, Day of Dance on July 24th at New Westminster Quay

This is a summer community event to bring people together through the celebration of dance and to utilize our beautiful waterfront space. This event showcases talent, culture and choreography but also encourages full public participation. We want people to remember how fun and inclusive dancing can be! This project has three components

We are so pleased to introduce our face painter, Deni, who is a professional tv make up artist! Very excited to see all the creations!

We know how much little ones love line ups! So we have come up with a numbered sticker system for your toddlers and kids to get on with the fun while still waiting for their turn!

Other activities include chalk drawn dance figures, bubble demos and a play house.

We now have a rain plan, in case anyone was worried....the tents will be configured in a cozier way to keep everyone dry while the party continues! Rain or shine the dancin won't stop!
