We’re evolving how government and the Early Learning and Child Care sector work together. The Minister’s Engagement Table (MET) is being updated to sharpen its focus on what matters most, include the right voices and connect discussions to key decisions. The MET will continue to be a main place for strategic conversations, with a stronger focus on practical input and system wide advice. Recruitment and outreach start in Summer 2026, with the evolved Table launching in Fall 2026.

IEP meetings can be intimidating. 💯

Using “I” (and we) statements are a way to advocate without feeling argumentative.

Write a few statements down in advance to feel more prepared. 💜

~Meghan

[image description: a tweet by me that says, A script for your next IEP meeting: “We use respectful, neurodiversity affirming language when we talk to and about our child. We require others on our team to do the same. If you need support in order to meet that expectation, I am happy to provide you with a few resources.”]
