We had our last GROWL assembly of the year today to celebrate our students who LEAD! These students model fairness, honesty, are always a friend and ask others to join in. Congratulations to our winners who are always someone others can look up to!

Reminder to everyone we have our Field Day tomorrow!!

Students will be outside for the majority of the day, so please remember to pack sunscreen, hats, water bottles, towel/change of clothes, and appropriate footwear!

We will be having a hot dog BBQ for lunch provided by our AGB Home and School Association. We will have pork free, gluten free, and vegetarian options as well.

The NS lunch tomorrow for AGB is the picnic plate, so it pairs nicely! If your student does not want a hot dog and hasn't ordered the lunch option, please make sure you send a packed lunch!

The A.G. Baillie Bears Boys Softball team wrapped up their undefeated season yesterday with a final 10-8 victory against the MEC Pirates. It was a real nail biter, but the team showed grit and determination, pulling together to bring home the district banner! Congratulations to the players and coaches on another successful season. Go Bears! 🥎

With the end of the school year fast approaching, we wanted to share some upcoming events:

June 18th: Field Day (with a rain date of June 19th)

June 19th: Primary Orientation @ 10-11:30AM

June 21st: National Indigenous Peoples Day

June 22nd: Grade 6 Closing Ceremony @ 6:00PM

June 26th: Last Full Day for Students

June 29th: No School for Students - Assessment and Evaluation Day

June 30th: Last Day of School. Students are only in school for 1 hour. Buses will pick students up normally, and will depart the school at approximately 9:30AM. Report cards will be sent home electronically.

Congrats to the AG Baillie Boy's Softball team who continued their winning ways with a 12-0 win over FH in the Semis Final game. The Bears will look to win the District banner with a win in the final game on Tuesday at 4 PM. Players please note the time change!

Due to the power outage and school being cancelled today at A.G. Baillie, we have unfortunately also had to cancel our Primary Orientation.

We will reschedule our Orientation to Friday, June 19th @ 10-11:30AM.

The Girls Softball team will take on G.R. Saunders at 3:30PM in Stellarton, Field 2. Bring a hat and lots of water. It's a hot one!!

Students have been practicing their communication and leadership skills outside recently in SEL.

In this activity, one partner wore glasses that were blocked out with duct tape while their partner had to give them directions to make it from one goal post to the other without touching the cones. The students had lots of fun with this one!
