BUILDING FOUNDATIONS FOR CHANGE A forum for women and men who want to be leaders for change in the trades through education of tolerance, equality, compassion and respect.

In 2016 we still see on a daily basis the inequality that fights to exist on many work sites across the globe. Many women (and men) are bullied daily from overt sexism to more subtle relational bullying. This needs to stop. I believe through dialogue and shared stories we can begin this change. No longer should a person have to be brave to go to work. We need to be the change we want to see. We need to see each other as our brother and our sister. To see a person for who they are in their heart not for who they are based on gender, race or religion. Women are entering the trades at a consistent rate but many are not staying because of the unhealthy work environment and sustained bullying. I believe we can all be better human beings. To come into any situation with compassion, humanity, acceptance and understanding. Let's share our stories and help each other to create a different world. One small foundation at a time. This forum is non aggressive and no foul language or personal attacks will be accepted or tolerated.
