Availability:

1 full time spot for a child age 18 months to 3 years old
1 full time spot for a child age 3-5 years old

On site is one early childhood educator, and an early childhood educator assistant who is waiting for her early childhood educator certificate to arrive, as she just finished the required course. She is absolutely amazing and I am lucky to have her. Together we make a great team, to ensure we have a positive environment for our little friends, to laugh, learn, and play! ❤️

We will also in the near future be going for walks and field trips once we sort things out and make a plan to ensure continuous supervision and safety!

Temporarily continuing as play based but changing to a more curriculum based facility soon.

At this moment we offer sensory, art, and circle time/reading and of course playtime.

We are part of the affordable childcare benefit, as well as the childcare fee reduction.

We are super excited to have new friends join us in our daily adventures!!!

Hello, my name is Melissa, and I am 30 years old. I have just finished my ECE course at Sprott Shaw college. I choose this career because I love working with children and being able to see their little personalities grow at a young age and I feel like the early years are the most important years to encourage creativity and sense and understanding of oneself. My passion has always been when I was a little girl. I always knew I wanted to be a mother and be around children. I used to run a non licensed daycare out of my home with 3 children in it, and it was so fulfilling seeing the smiles on the children's faces and the curiosity about everything.. In my spare time, I love to spend time with my husband and daughter by going for bike rides, taking her to the park, and most of all, going on our scavenger hunts. I start working full-time for Alex starting Monday. I can't wait to see all the new little ones or the children that were there when I left for practicum.
I thought I would write a little paragraph about myself to the ones who don't know me yet

Thank you so much, Alex, for working around my schedule and letting me drop my daughter off at school first and starting a bit later (10 AM)
