Giving a guitar a proper set up is one of my favorite pass times. Nothing is more relaxing then setting up a stream of Youtube videos in the backround while working on an instrument that deserves some TLC.

I got this Jackson from a student of mine, that when plugged in, hummed like crazy. The signal of the guitar was almost as just as loud as the humming! After a quick solder job, it was electronically good to go.

This video is everything I did afterwards to get the guitar cleaned, primed and polished, finished with an off-camera intonation of course!

If you have an instrument (Electric guitar, bass, acoustic guitar/bass) that is in need of some love, feel free to give me a message! I have been working on guitars for over 6 years, spending the past 3 years really delving in to the details of it all. After completing a set-up intensive course by Blackwood Guitarworks, I decided now is the perfect time to offer my guitar set-up services!
