Hi HGEN students, are you looking to get active and meet other students this fall?

This semester, we are hosting a run club for HGEN students which will be held Sundays at 10:30 AM. The meeting point is the Sir George-Étienne Cartier Monument at Parc du Mont Royal. This run club is open to all runners and paces! The link to our group chat is in our instagram bio!

In addition to this, we still have spots available for our Fall Intramural Ultimate Frisbee team. The sign-up link is also in our instagram bio!

Thank you to everyone who attended the 2026 HGSS Annual Conference at the RI-MUHC on May 27th! 🧬

This year’s theme, Reimagining Preclinical Modeling for the Next Generation of Therapies, brought together students, researchers, clinicians, and industry professionals for a full day of engaging talks and networking focused on advances in disease modeling and therapeutic discovery.

We extend our sincere thanks to our keynote speaker Dr. James Ellis, all invited speakers, attendees, sponsors, and volunteers who helped make the event such a success.

Special thanks to our Diamond Sponsors, Génome Québec and McGill Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, as well as all Gold and Silver sponsors for supporting student-led research initiatives and the genetics community.

Each hoodie features a small McGill logo embroidered on the left chest and a large Human Genetics departmental logo embroidered on the back.
