You can talk about your problems for years…
and still feel the same inside.

Because insight alone doesn’t create change.

In therapy, the shift happens when we slow down enough to feel what your system has been holding—
the grief, the fear, the unmet needs.

This is the work I do using Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy + Somatic Experiencing.

It can sound like this:

“Let’s slow this down…
What are you noticing in your body right now?”

“Stay with that… I’m right here with you.”

“If that feeling could speak… what does it need?”

This is how we move from
🧠 understanding your story
to
🫀 actually transforming it.

Not just talking about who you’ve been—
but becoming who you are now.

✨ Therapy that goes beyond insight.

Cognitive dissonance is exhausting.
It keeps you bonded to people who hurt you while convincing you it’s your fault.

If you constantly feel confused, anxious, or like you’re “too much” in certain relationships — pause.
Your nervous system may already know the truth your mind isn’t ready to accept yet.

Clarity isn’t cruelty.
It’s self-trust returning. ✨

Conflict doesn’t end relationships.
Missed repair does.

In the Gottman Method, this is called the Repair Attempt System (R.A.S.) — the ability to slow conflict down, soften, and reconnect before damage sets in.

Strong relationships aren’t conflict-free.
They’re repair-rich.

And when the nervous system feels safe enough, repair becomes possible again.

As this year comes to a close, I want to thank you for the trust, courage, and care you’ve brought into this work.
The holidays can hold many layers — joy, grief, rest, tenderness, and reflection.
Wherever you find yourself this season, may you meet yourself with gentleness.
Wishing you moments of warmth, safety, and connection.
Happy Holidays 🤍

Depression isn’t always a lack of motivation.
Sometimes it’s a nervous system in shutdown.

When your body has carried too much for too long, it may protect you by slowing everything down.
Numbness, exhaustion, disconnection — these aren’t failures.
They’re survival responses.

Somatic Experiencing works gently with the body to help the nervous system move out of freeze and back toward regulation, energy, and connection — without forcing or overwhelming.

Healing doesn’t mean pushing harder.
It means listening differently.

If this resonates, you’re not broken — your system learned how to survive.
And it can also learn how to feel safe again.

Some of the deepest grief comes from what we should’ve had but didn’t.
A mother who saw you. Held you. Cared for you the way you needed.
Not just the basics of survival — but emotional safety.
Attunement. Softness.

This kind of grief is often invisible.
It hides under perfectionism, people-pleasing, shame, and loneliness.
But it deserves to be named. Because your pain is real — even if no one ever acknowledged it.

💬 If this resonates, I see you. You are not alone.
👇 Comment a 🌿 or a ❤️ if you’re learning to hold space for this kind of grief.

For many people, the holidays aren’t joyful — they’re tender.

They bring grief for the family you never had,
the family you lost,
or the family that feels complicated, distant, or unsafe.

If this season stirs sadness, numbness, irritability, or a quiet ache you can’t quite name — you’re not broken.
Your nervous system is responding to history, not failure.

You’re allowed to grieve what never was.
You’re allowed to choose safety over obligation.
You’re allowed to create your own version of the holidays.

If this time of year feels heavy, you don’t have to carry it alone 🤍

There’s a quiet kind of grief many of us carry.
Not for what we lost… but for what we never had.

The nurturing, the safety, the love, the presence.
It’s not dramatic. It’s not always visible. But it lives deep in our nervous systems, in the parts of us still waiting to be seen, held, chosen.

This grief matters too.
And naming it is part of healing.

You don’t need permission to mourn unmet needs.
You only need gentleness with yourself.

Healing doesn’t happen to you — it happens within you.
A therapist can’t “fix” you. What we do is create safety, attunement, and connection so your nervous system can remember how to heal itself.

Because trauma is relational — and so is healing. 💛
