The Global Game Jam invites: https://woman-life-freedom.com/
(Dec. 2 - 4, 2022)

Woman, Life, Freedom: The Game Jam! is a solidarity event for women protesting their rights. As a group of video game developers, we want to use our media to be their voice!

“Woman, Life, Freedom” is what people in Iran are chanting in streets during their protests against massive violations of women’s rights, corruption, and autocratic laws and regulations.

This Briefing Paper (a case study of Mela game), talks about how Serious Games can be self-educting tools and how they can help with the sustainability of educational and social change programs.

Many thanks to Prof. Claudia Mitchell, for all invaluable comments and edits, and Fatima Khan for the beautiful design of the paper.
Published in Participatory Cultures Lab, McGill University.

This Briefing Paper is 12 pages. We are waiting for Dagmawi Bedilu to put it on www.melagame.com so that we can reference to it.

Next week we are going to have two days of game-play sessions and follow-up activities in Addis for the new version of Mela!

This time we also focus on "what is next, after playing the game?!" :)

""A Guide to Mela" & "Mela T-Shirts" are additional takeaways...! ;)

These sessions are special for invited ATVET college instructors!

Thanks to Sahar Fazeli for the pics!
