The Women of Color Collective provides a supportive space for women from racialized backgrounds, Indigenous women, and trans people of color at McGill Law.

The Women of Colour Collective of McGill Law (WOCC) provides a supportive space for women from racialized backgrounds, Indigenous women, and trans people of colour at McGill’s Faculty of Law. By providing cultural, social, professional, educational, and community service programs, the WOCC advances the needs of women and trans people of colour, thereby enriching the educational experience at McGill Law. Le but du Collectif des femmes racisées est aussi de favoriser les échanges entre les femmes, à la Faculté de droit de McGill, au sujet d’enjeux qui concernent des femmes issues de minorités.

The Women of Colour Collective is excited to partner with Fil d’Ariane to bring you a brand-new mentorship program!

This program is designed to provide mentorship and guidance for law students who may feel a little lost and are looking to connect with experienced mentors. Sign-ups are open to all female students, with a special focus on supporting women and diverse voices in law.

Fil d’Ariane has a diverse bank of mentors, including women of colour and professionals with different lived experiences, ready to guide you through law school, professional opportunities, and beyond.

Sign-ups are open now and will close mid-October. Pairings will be announced by the end of October.

Le Women of Colour Collective est ravi de s’associer à Fil d’Ariane pour vous présenter un tout nouveau programme de mentorat!

Ce programme a pour objectif d’offrir du mentorat et de l’accompagnement aux étudiant·e·s en droit qui peuvent parfois se sentir un peu perdu·e·s et souhaitent créer des liens avec des mentors expérimenté·e·s. L’inscription est ouverte à tou·te·s femmes, avec une attention particulière portée au soutien des voix diverses en droit.

Fil d’Ariane dispose d’une banque diversifiée de mentor·e·s, incluant des femmes racisées et des professionnel·le·s aux parcours variés, prêt·e·s à vous guider dans votre cheminement en droit, vos opportunités professionnelles et au-delà.

Les inscriptions sont ouvertes dès maintenant et ferment à la mi-octobre. Les jumelages seront annoncés d’ici la fin octobre.
