Meet our students 🧑‍🎓
Emmanuel describes himself as a serial career mover, having worn many hats over the years: digital marketing, business analytics, NFT marketing, and most recently Salesforce project management. Always drawn to data, he joined our Data Science & AI bootcamp full-time to go deeper.
đź’» Why learn Data Science & AI?
"My goal is to go under the hood of technologies that can make me better at my job: building models and using a scientist mindset to solve business challenges."
đź’– What do you enjoy most?
"Many aspects outmatch my expectations. The TAs are incredibly knowledgeable and generous, the students come from fascinating and diverse backgrounds, and everything flows together really well. The new Montréal space is also super welcoming"
🚀 What's next?
"Two doors call me: mixing business analytics and marketing tech with AI, or going deeper as a data scientist. Either way, I love investigating statistics and AI implementations, and I'm not scared to get my hands dirty."
Come to our Demo Day and watch Emmanuel and his team present their project live.

The FIFA World Cup 2026 is coming to Canada, and what better way to get into it than with data? âš˝
We're hosting a free online workshop where Le Wagon instructor Enrique Ramirez will explore decades of World Cup data using Python. You'll learn the basics of data analysis, build your own visualizations, and see firsthand how numbers become insights.
No coding experience needed, and nothing to install. We work in Google Colab, straight from your browser.
Whether you're curious about data, considering a career shift into tech, or just want to see what Python can do in a hands-on setting, this is a great place to start.

🧑‍💻 Meet our students
Originally from Poland, Beata studied Engineering Management with a major in IT in Management. A one-year break after graduating turned into six years in the US and five in Australia, where she worked in hospitality, taught dance, operated machinery, and even spent time in the mines of outback Western Australia. Now based in Montréal, she joined our AI Software Development bootcamp this spring to launch her career in tech 🚀.
đź’» Why learn AI Software Development?
"I first discovered coding back in 2012 during my studies, and I really enjoyed it. At the time, I wasn't sure what I wanted to do with my life, so I chose to travel instead. A decade later, I'm still thinking about how much I enjoyed it. Now that I'm ready to settle down, coming back to coding feels like the right time."
đź’– What do you enjoy most in the bootcamp?
"I really like having the option to attend in person. The group is small, so it's easy to get support from the teachers. I also appreciate that we're encouraged to work in pairs: just talking through a problem or explaining it to someone else helps a lot with understanding. And it's interesting to see how the same problem can be solved in so many different ways."
🚀 What's next?
"I'm looking for a stable, long-term job where I can use my skills while continuing to learn and grow. Eventually, I'd also like to explore freelancing."
Sometimes life fills up with experiences before bringing you back to something you always loved. If you've been putting off a return to tech, maybe now is your time too.
