Following the immensity of my MFA project, I spent the beginning of January putting some photos together from my archive.
I decided to put them together in a book. Something small and intimate that could be held and spent as much time with as the viewer wished.
In a similar vein, I started drawing again. I was drawn to the simplicity of a pencil and paper vs a camera and computer.
The result is this dummy book that Ive tentatively titled “i stopped thinking of him as myself”. It’s still in the process, but it captures the spirit of what I desired to make.
