I teach busy women how to transform their bodies with ZERO restrictions.

Every plan I create for my clients is based on their individual bodies, lifestyle, and goals.

There’s a word I’ve been thinking about a lot lately when it comes to coaching women in their 40s and beyond...

Capacity.

The ability to train consistently for years without breaking down.

Steady energy through your week.

Recovering from stress before it accumulates.

Showing up strong for whatever your life is asking of you.

Most women have never been coached for it.

They’ve been coached for a number on a scale, or a workout that left them wrecked.

Those are surface metrics. Capacity is the underlying one.

The women on our team coach for it.

The results above are what happens when capacity becomes the goal.

Capacity is what compounds.

Comment CAPACITY and I’ll send you the 5 markers we check to see where your capacity actually is right now.

There's a word I think most women in their 40s and beyond should be building their training around...

It's not strength.
It's not fat loss.
It's not endurance.
It's CAPACITY.

The ability to train consistently for years without breaking down.
Steady energy through your week.
Recovering from stress before it accumulates.
Showing up strong for whatever your life is asking of you, the work, the kids, the travel, the long haul of being you.

Capacity is the actual asset. Everything else compounds from it.

Most women have never been coached for it.

They've been coached for a number on a scale, or a look in a mirror, or a workout that left them wrecked.

Those are surface metrics. Capacity is the underlying one.

And capacity isn't built by training harder.

It's built by supporting your body in a way it can actually adapt to, week after week, year after year.

Capacity is what compounds. Train for that.

Most women don’t need more motivation, discipline, or determination...

They need less friction between the plan and the ex*****on.

Because the issue usually isn’t that women “don’t want it badly enough.”

It’s that they’re relying on willpower to carry habits that were never properly supported in the first place.

A workout planned but not prepared for.
Meals planned but no groceries in the house.
A busy week with no flexibility built into it.

That’s why so many women feel incredibly motivated at the beginning of the week…
and completely off-track a few days later.

Not because they failed.

Because the system failed them.

The women who stay consistent long-term aren’t always more disciplined.

They’ve just learned how to make follow-through easier.

Preparation.
Simplicity.
Reducing decision fatigue.
Building routines that fit their actual life.

That’s what creates consistency most people are chasing motivation for.

Big things are happening over here at Flexis Fitness 🩷

I’m so excited to officially welcome Lesli to our coaching team!

As our mission and community continue to grow, protecting the level of care, support, and coaching our clients receive has remained one of my top priorities.

That’s exactly why I’m so excited to have Lesli joining us 👏

Lesli brings over 9 years of coaching experience, has a degree in Exercise Science & Nutrition Management, and is deeply passionate about helping women create sustainable results that fit their real lives.

Over the years, she’s worked with women in many different seasons of life and has always cared deeply about helping them feel stronger, healthier, more supported, and more empowered in their bodies.

She also continues to deepen her expertise in women’s performance, metabolism, and midlife health through ongoing advanced education, which aligns so well with the level of support we strive to bring the women we serve here at Flexis Fitness 🤓

What I think people will love most about Lesli is how approachable, thoughtful, and supportive she is. She has such a great balance of knowledge, experience, and genuine care for the women she works with, and I know that’s something our community is going to feel right away 🩷

Outside of coaching, Lesli is from North Carolina, is a wife and mom of 3, and comes from a big close-knit family (4 sisters, 1 brother!) spread across the U.S. She loves travelling, exploring new places, spending time outdoors, hiking with her family, and enjoying backyard cookouts.

She also somehow manages a full house with 3 kids, 2 dogs, and 2 cats… which honestly might require superpowers 😂🐶❤️

One of the coolest things about her background is that she spent over a year living in Southeast Asia as a teenager because of her dad’s work, which gave her the opportunity to experience different cultures and ways of life while traveling through places like Vietnam and China.

I’m incredibly proud of what we’re building here and even more excited for the women we’ll continue impacting together ❤️

Excited for you all to get to know her more and for everything ahead! 💪

As another birthday rolls around, one thing I understand more deeply now than I did a few years ago:

There’s a difference between building a big life… and having the capacity to actually hold it.

I think a lot of ambitious women are taught to measure themselves by how much they can carry.

How much they can produce.
Push through.
Handle.
Accomplish.

But eventually, you realize your energy, health, mindset, relationships, and overall well-being affect everything.

Not just what you’re able to do.

But how you actually experience your life while doing it.

This year brought a lot of growth, perspective, grief, and reminders about what actually matters.

And honestly, life doesn’t always slow down while you’re learning those lessons either 😬

Sometimes the most exciting seasons are also the most demanding.

The most beautiful seasons can also stretch you the most.

I think this year taught me that growth isn’t just about building more.

It’s about becoming the kind of person who can hold more without losing themselves in the process.

And more than anything, I feel grateful.

Grateful for the people around me.
For the opportunities.
For resilience.
For growth that challenged me in the best ways.
And for the people who showed up, supported, and genuinely cared through all of it.

I’m walking into this next year with a lot more perspective, a lot more gratitude, and an even deeper appreciation for the people, growth, and community that have shaped this season of life.

I guess that’s part of getting older and wiser though… realizing there’s always more to learn, more ways to grow, and more depth to life than you understood before.

Wouldn’t trade the lessons for anything 💕

Waiting may feel like the responsible thing to do...but it's just a stall.

The women who actually get the results they want over time aren't the ones who waited for the right week or perfect timing.

They're the ones who kept making the next decision in the middle of the mess.

You don't need a clean slate.
You don't need a fresh Monday.
You don't need conditions to be ideal.

If you want enduring change, the best time to start is when you're busy.

Learn how to make it work in the worst conditions, and it'll stick in the best.

You need one decision. Then the next one. Then the next.

That's how this actually works and sticks long term.

Most women in peri/post menopause are well aware that eating enough protein is important… but often times?

They’re under-distributing it.

Effort is high, intention is there…

But some meals look like snacks while one meal carries all the protein.

So the daily total looks “good” on paper.

But your unique midlife biology doesn’t just care about totals…

It cares about the signals it’s getting.

This is why protein timing matters so much more in midlife than it did in your 20s.

Your muscles need multiple “activation signals” throughout the day...

Not one big bolus at night.

When we redistributed this client’s protein (not increased it)…

Her hunger stabilized, inflammation dropped, and she finally felt the changes she’d been working for.

If you feel like you’re doing “everything right” and nothing is shifting, don’t just look at what you’re eating…

Look at how and when you’re eating it ... and whether it actually supports your unique biology.

And if you want me to show you exactly what 25-35g of protein looks like at each meal without overthinking it, comment "PROTEIN" below.

Motivation isn’t like Amazon Prime...

It’s not a package that just shows up at your door.

If you’re waiting for the “perfect” moment or for motivation to hit, you're already behind.

Life doesn’t wait for you to catch up.

Your goals don’t take a break for you to feel ready.

If you want results, you’ve got to decide that your future is more important than your current feelings.

Your future self doesn’t need perfection...

She needs you to take action, even when it’s uncomfortable. That’s how progress happens.

So, stop waiting for motivation. Start acting.

Your future starts with what you do today.

If carbs leave you tired, bloated, or softer around the midsection…

it’s not a carb problem... it’s a pattern I see every day in high-performing women.

Women who train.
Women who eat “clean.”
Women who take care of everyone else…
and still feel like their body is reacting unpredictably.

Not because they’re doing anything inherently "wrong"...

but because their biology has shifted, and no one ever taught them how to adapt with it.

After 35, your metabolism becomes far more sensitive to stress, under-fuelling, long gaps without eating, and poor recovery.

And when those systems are overwhelmed?

Your body stops using carbs efficiently.

They make you crash instead of energized.

They get stored instead of burned.

And your midsection becomes the first place you notice it.

This isn’t about cutting carbs.

It’s about teaching your metabolism how to USE them again.

When your biology is supported - stable meals, protein timing, post-meal movement, strength, nervous system regulation...everything changes:

✨ Energy stabilizes
✨ Cravings calm down
✨ Belly fat becomes more predictable
✨ Carbs feel good again

Carbs were never the enemy.

Your body just needs the right inputs to work with them.

If you want a simple, biology-backed breakdown of how to make carbs work FOR your unique biology, comment CARBS and I’ll send you the training.
