Meet our CYE Judge and Mentor, Senate Paul Clissold and 2026 Canada JCI Senate President.

Paul's entrepreneurial journey began in 1995 when he purchased his first Joey's Seafood franchise. Since then, he has successfully owned, operated, grown, and sold multiple businesses across different industries.

Over the years, he has built restaurant franchises, launched and expanded a barbershop business to six locations, operated a home detailing franchise, and played a key role in growing Joey's Franchising Group, where he now serves as Director of Operations.

Beyond business, Paul has been a dedicated JCI leader. After serving as President of JCI Kelowna in 2009, he became JCI Canada National President in 2011, creating lifelong friendships and connections through the organization around the world.

What drives Paul most is helping entrepreneurs turn their vision into reality. Through the Creative Young Entrepreneur Program, he enjoys guiding ambitious founders, helping them set achievable goals, and supporting them on their journey toward building successful businesses.

Henry is a seasoned entrepreneur and investor. A recipient of numerous international awards in architecture and entrepreneurship, he has been recognized in Beijing, Dubai, London, Paris, and Mauritius. One of his companies was the first real estate development company to be listed on the Stock Exchange of Mauritius and was named among the top African companies on the New York Stock Exchange. It was also ranked among the top 100 companies and the top 50 in terms of profitability. At 45, he retired and actively invested in Canada.

Senator Henry has been deeply involved with JCI, serving successively as National President and International Vice President for Africa. He also received the JCI Best Executive Vice President Award while representing 37 European countries. He has led seminars at the Council of Europe in Strasbourg and the United Nations in New York. He chaired the awards jury for the JCI World Congress in 2002 and the JCI Asia Conference in 2003.

Henry has inspired thousands of people through his travels and training in over 20 countries. He currently mentors several NGOs in Canada and provides professional guidance to real estate investors and entrepreneurs in wealth creation.

Henry is currently Vice President of CBDC, a development bank in Nova Scotia that helps rural entrepreneurs access financing and create jobs.

Jorgia Lindquist, BBA, is an Edmonton-based entrepreneur, community leader, and advocate for the power of food to connect people across cultures.

A recipient of the Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal and EDIFY Emerging Leader of the Year, Jorgia has built her career at the intersection of business, community service, and cultural storytelling. Alongside her work in non-profits and education, she co-founded DON'YA Ukraine's Kitchen with her mother, which a brand born not from a business plan, but from a crisis.

Following the 2022 invasion of Ukraine, Jorgia and her team ran a donation centre that supported around 20,000 Ukrainian newcomers arriving in Alberta. Those same newcomers eventually returned to cook, volunteer, and share their traditions — and their spirit became the foundation of DON'YA. By 2023, the brand launched its first pop-up, introducing Canadians to handmade varenyky, holubtsi, and borshch crafted by newcomers rebuilding their lives in Canada.

Today, as co-founder & COO, Jorgia leads a brand that employs over 20 Ukrainian newcomers across its cafés, retail line, and manufacturing kitchen, with products in grocery stores across Alberta and catering from Edmonton to Calgary. In 2025, DON'YA appeared on CBC's Dragon's Den Season 20 and won JCI Canada's Creative Young Entrepreneur of the Year, a Square Top 50 Company Worldwide, and featured on PBS Food.

Jorgia also serves as the JCI Edmonton Local President, continuing a 95-year legacy of empowering young leaders and strengthening the local community.
