Had a Awesome surprise ....
My student Max stopped by to drop off our 1st Place trophy from a province-wide tournament 🏆
Max was the top Chess Player in Canada.
His talent is undeniable, and his passion for chess hasn’t slowed down one bit.
We played a friendly game and yes, he got the win on me 😅
It’s moments like these that remind me how awesome it is to coach. Watching kids grow, compete, and reach incredible heights sometimes even surpassing their coach ♟️🔥

You will never guess what these two boys did over the last 3 months… ♟️
Peter and Sam have been taking chess lessons with me for over a year, but something clicked recently the growth has been incredible.
In just the past 3 months, their chess ability and confidence have skyrocketed. They’re now calmly calculating 5 moves ahead, stopping checkmates in their sleep.
Most impressive is the confidence shift. They sit taller, trust their thinking, and expect to find strong moves instead of hoping for them.
This is what happens when consistency meets the right guidance.
Kids realize just how powerful their thinking can be.
