Winter in Canada is a breeze. Or not! That is, if you’re not prepared. Before coming to Canada, it’s important to check the weather patterns in the province you are studying in. Some areas don’t get all that cold (i.e. British Columbia), while others get quite cold (i.e. Alberta). In most provinces, it’s safe to say you’ll need a good-quality parka, a solid pair of winter boots, and a hat. Once you’ve got the proper gear, just enjoy it!
