Karaté-Do Pierrefonds-Roxboro

Jeudi dernier, le 14 avril, les examens de grades Dan de Karate Canada ont eu lieu. J’ai eu l’honneur d’être l’un des cinq examinateurs présents pour les évaluations.

Au cours des dernières décennies, j’ai eu l’opportunité d’évaluer des candidats du 1er au 10e Dan, incluant des recommandations pour une promotion au 9e Dan et au 10e Dan.

Les examens se sont déroulés dans une excellente atmosphère, où les candidats ont démontré leurs connaissances techniques, leur compréhension, leur esprit et leur expérience selon leur grade respectif. Ce fut une présentation très dynamique et impressionnante, reflétant la progression continue et le haut niveau du karaté-do au Canada.

Félicitations à tous les candidats pour leur dévouement, leur préparation et leur performance, ainsi que mes sincères remerciements à tous les examinateurs et organisateurs pour leur professionnalisme et leur contribution au succès des examens.

Last Thursday, 14 May, the Karate Canada Dan Examinations were held. I had the honour of being one of the five examiners present for the assessments.

Over the past decades, I have had the opportunity to assess candidates from 1st to 10th Dan, including recommendations for one 9th Dan and one 10th Dan promotion.

The examinations were conducted in an excellent atmosphere, where candidates demonstrated their technical knowledge, understanding, spirit, and experience according to their respective grades. It was a very dynamic and impressive presentation that reflected the continued growth and high standard of karate-do in Canada.

Congratulations to all candidates for their dedication, preparation, and performance, and sincere appreciation to all examiners and organizers for their professionalism and contribution to the success of the examinations.

The championship banner was proudly presented during the closing ceremony held on Wednesday, April 22.

Parmi les 15 arrondissements de Montréal, Karate Pierrefonds Roxboro a fièrement obtenu la 1ère place au classement général.

Nous souhaitons également exprimer notre plus sincère gratitude à nos 6 bénévoles dévoués. Votre temps, votre énergie et votre engagement ont joué un rôle essentiel dans la réussite de cet événement. De l’organisation au soutien des athlètes, en passant par le bon déroulement de la compétition, vos efforts ont fait toute la différence. Cette réussite est aussi la vôtre.

With a team of 19 competitors, KPR brought home an incredible 29 medals:

Among 15 boroughs in Montréal, Karate Pierrefonds Roxboro proudly secured 1st place overall.

From organizing and supporting the athletes to ensuring everything ran smoothly, your efforts truly made a difference. This achievement belongs to you as well.
