Selective enrollment for children ages 6–9.
Each child begins with a 45-minute Introductory Consultation & Assessment, during which we will:
• Evaluate musical readiness — coordination, rhythm, and listening skills
• Identify strengths and areas for growth — so lessons are tailored to each child
• Recommend the most suitable program and level
• Provide parents with feedback — including suggested practice tips and next steps
After this session, parents receive a clear plan for their child’s piano journey, including program placement, lesson structure, and goals for the first few months.
Lessons are held in Longueuil (South Shore), in a professional and inspiring studio, providing a comfortable space for young pianists to focus, practice, and perform.

N.O.V.A. represents Nurture, Originality, Virtuosity, and Artistry. Our programs combine RCM-based lessons with original methods, study of musical literature and theory, and a mix of individual and group lessons. NOVA also reflects the Ukrainian word "нова" (new), symbolizing innovation and creativity.

Founder & Artistic Director
Gabriella Magalhães, founder of NOVA Conservatory, is a professional pianist and music educator with a Master’s degree in Performing Arts. A laureate of international competitions, she has performed across Ukraine, Moldova, and Canada. Gabriella brings over 10 years of teaching experience, preparing students for RCM examinations while fostering creativity and performance skills.

NOVA Conservatory of Piano now offers a 45-minute introductory consultation for all new students.
This session helps us understand each learner’s goals, evaluate their current level, and build a personalized study plan before the start of regular lessons.
🎼 Pilot Program
This consultation is part of a pilot program designed for motivated students who are preparing for exams (including RCM), auditions, or stage performances.
We welcome learners who are ready for a serious, structured musical path and consistent practice.

• 15 minutes — interview, goals & learning profile
• 30 minutes — diagnostic lesson (technique, rhythm, reading, ear skills)
