Good morning everyone I really appreciate everyone reaching out to me about being hacked. Also a big thank you to my eagle eyed customers who alerted me immediately to the suspicious name. I’m writing to you guys to let you know what happened so you can safe guard yourselves.
What basically happened is hackers hacked into my email account and they changed/diverted my auto deposits to go into their accounts. I’m very cautious and never click on links or open attachments that I don’t know come from a reputable source so I’m not sure how it happened. A fraud expert at my bank thinks it could have been when I had installed an eSIM into my phone when I was in Europe recently. Anyway it’s unfortunate and I hate that there are people in this world who do this sort of thing. However it’s out of my control and at least it’s not my health. Thanks everyone for all of your kindness sent my way. 🫶

I’m making these Wednesday August 20th
The Kardashian salad (there are many, but this one is served at La Scala restaurant in Beverly Hills). It’s supposed to be a favourite of all The Kardashians as well as many other celebrities living in L.A.

La Scala salad- romaine, iceberg, chickpeas, grated mozzarella, Italian salami. Served in a red wine vinaigrette with freshly grated Pecorino Romano in it.
Super model Bella Hadid’s salad- arugula, lettuce, sweet red peppers, avocado, freshly grated Parmesan Reggiano cheese petals, cucumbers. Served in a freshly squeezed lemon vinaigrette and finished off with a balsamic glaze

Here is what I’m making on Sunday August 17th. It’s the season for tomatoes for sure. I’m finding the crop so good this year. All of the hot, sunny weather we’ve been having makes them taste delicious 😋🍅
Xoriatiki/traditional Greek village salad- local tomatoes, cucumbers, green peppers, Kalamata pit less olives, red onions, Greek feta.
Served in a traditional Greek vinaigrette (made with olive oil from my olive trees in northern Evia, Greece)
Mélange à trois pasta salad- pasta in a lemon, kale, pistachio pesto
Groovy Grapes-romaine, farro, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, sweet red peppers, red grapes, fresh parsley, roasted chickpeas. Served in a fresh lemon-sumac vinaigrette

The Holly salad-mixed greens, sweet peppers, cherry tomatoes, avocado, cucumbers. Served in a balsamic vinaigrette
Niçoise bowl-lettuce, green beans, oven roasted new potatoes, cherry tomatoes, pitted Kalamata olives, cucumbers, *hard boiled eggs, tuna, fresh basil. Served in a fresh lemon & fresh chive vinaigrette
*please note in the salad I made in the picture, the salad is made with soft boiled eggs because that’s the way we like to eat our Niçoise, but for safety reasons I will be making the salads with hard boiled eggs

I’ve been obsessed with this salad lately, it’s seriously delicious. Inspired by my favourite dish at Naomi Beach Bar in Greece, it combines fresh local ingredients, salty grilled halloumi, sweet sun-dried Greek figs, toasted walnuts, cherry tomatoes, and crunchy sesame snaps for a surprise honey crunch. A homemade sun-dried tomato vinaigrette adds the perfect tang. Try it and let me know what you think!
