Sod is turned for the new high school by Rev.

Malcolm Campbell, Chairman of the PSBGM on June 2nd. The Somerled Avenue location is described as destined to be home for the "massive Monklands High" which will contain 74 rooms (41 classrooms) and a capacity of 1,100 students.
