Trudy and I packed our bags and escaped to beautiful Niagara-on-the-Lake for another unforgettable i4C International Cool Climate Chardonnay Celebration.

We make a true weekend of it—checking into the beautiful White Oaks Resort, enjoying an amazing dinner, and hopping aboard a limousine shuttle that whisked us away to the Niagara District Airport hangar.

Imagine an evening where some of the world’s finest cool-climate Chardonnays, incredible culinary creations, and live music all came together under one roof. The atmosphere was a gentle reminder to simply slow down and soak it all in. 🥂✨

For us, these weekends aren’t just about the wine. They’re about spending quality time together, making memories, and appreciating the experiences that remind us why we work so hard to create more freedom in our lives. Life isn’t just about building a future… it’s about enjoying the journey, celebrating great people, and embracing the moments that make life so special.

For a long time, I debated whether I should share this.

Most people only post the highlights. The wins. The exciting moments.

But the beginning of my journey looked very different.

I spent nearly $1,000 on ads, reached more than 140,000 people, and had absolutely nothing to show for it.

It was discouraging.

I questioned myself. I questioned the business. I wondered if I had made a mistake.

Looking back, I realize I wasn’t failing because the opportunity didn’t work—I was failing because I was trying to skip the learning curve.
