Copenhagen Muslim Association
Mississauga ON L5N Canada
This association is for the Muslims living in Copenhagen Road, and adjoining streets for the inculcation of Islamic education and values, as well as those non-Muslims who wish to share their virtues for the development of better citizenship in the neighborhood. The performance of five times Salawat, learning the recitation of The-Qur’an, Ahadith of The-Prophet (PBUH), and understanding it from different exegesis of the scholars are the few areas where this association would heavily concentrate. Salawat is the day-today five times performance of the prayer, while other events may be arranged on weekly or even monthly basis based on the necessities of the community. Nevertheless, this association is open to anyone who would like to participate with an intention to learn, share, and cooperate on the virtues taught commonly to all adherents by different religious values. Pooling resources for the benefit of the members of this association to attend other programs in the area or across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) would also be managed by the administrative body of the association. Copenhagen Muslim Association (CMA) is in budding stage, Muslim living in the area is requested to join CMA in order to be in association of fellow believers and other friends in the area. Membership to this association is limited to the residents of Copenhagen Road, Cadiz Crescent, Fayette Circle, Tamar Road, Ridgeland Crescent, Joliette Crescent, Bendigo Circle, Quetta Mews, Oslo Crescent, and areas north of Derry Road on Glen Erin Drive.
