The verb saber means to know. But there is another verb that means to know, the verb conocer. The main difference is that we use the verb saber to talk about knowing how to do something or a particular information.
Yo sé bailar salsa.
Yo sé tu número de teléfono.

The verb conocer is used to talk about knowing a person or a place.
Tú conoces a mi hermano.
Tú conoces Toronto.

Your goals are my goals too! 🚩⁣

There are many good teachers with different styles and a lot to offer. ⁣

However, I believe I am different because I have been able to help my clients achieve their goals, because this is where we begin. ⁣

We start by having a brief conversation and setting goals and understanding what his or her interests are, learning about their way of learning and the previous experience they have had with Spanish.⁣

If you are interested, let’s meet! Send a DM or text via WhatsApp clicking on the link in the bio👆⁣

I invite you to a free 30-min lesson and to talk about your goals😍⁣

Let's talk about location and emotions
The verb Estar is the verb To Be. Remember that we have two verbs in Spanish that mean To Be. The other verb is the verb Ser (for permanent characteristics and identification).
The verb Estar is used to express location, to talk about where someone or something is:
El teléfono está en la cocina.
For temporary characteristics or situations.
El café está caliente.
For emotions
Yo estoy feliz.
For the present progressive, with the gerund:
El niño está nadando.
