Your common-law partner may be eligible for an open work permit if you: 📝
• Have a valid study permit
• Are eligible for a post-graduation work permit (PGWP) and
• Are a full-time student at one of these types of schools:
1. A public post-secondary school, such as a college or university, or CEGEP in Quebec.
2. A private college-level school in Quebec.
3. A Canadian private school that can legally award degrees under provincial law (for example, Bachelors, Masters or Doctorate degree).
✅ How long is the open work permit valid for?

Part Time isn't Permanent! 🙇♂️
I cannot emphasize enough on this! As an international student, people often end up working jobs they never thought they would!
In most cases, this ends up hurting their morale, and they are often not able to talk about it to their friends and family.
I want to voice it out, it is Okay and Perfectly Normal to work at small jobs as part-time. You're only doing this to sustain your life as International Student.
Try to look at it in a positive way
✅ Part-time jobs help you pay your basic expenses like rent, food and travel
✅ They help you network with different people
✅ They give your perfect work-life balance
✅ They expose you to different industry and its functioning
Remember, that it is only a temporary thing, until you find your true calling. What are your views?
