As the French teacher, I help many students achieve their goals. My aim is to assist as many children as possible in meeting their expectations and becoming fluent in French reading, comprehension, speaking, and writing. I teach students from Junior Kindergarten to International Baccalaureate, ranging from 3 to 16 years old.
Currently, I am helping a 3-year-old student, YY, start reading in French. All my lessons are conducted in French, which boosts children's confidence in listening and understanding the language, as well as improving their pronunciation—crucial for their development. I incorporate numerous activities to make learning French enjoyable and effective. YY enjoys learning and we have established a good connection, making it easier to teach him.
My goal is for all my students to enjoy learning and eagerly return to my lessons.
At the end of each session, I test him on what we've learned using an iPad. I create a specially programmed test to assess his understanding.

An abacus is a manual calculating tool used for arithmetic operations like addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. It consists of rods or wires on which beads are slid to represent numbers. The benefits of using an abacus include improving concentration, enhancing memory retention, promoting mental math skills, and fostering a deeper understanding of mathematical concepts. By engaging with the abacus, children develop a strong foundation in arithmetic and computational skills, enabling them to perform complex calculations mentally without relying on calculators.
I am impressed by several students who can perform mental math without a calculator, showcasing their exceptional concentration and self-confidence. Their ability to solve mathematical problems mentally is a testament to their dedication and skill development.

In my daily routine of teaching French at school, I find immense joy in guiding students through their language journey. Witnessing the progress of each child and adapting my approach to cater to their individual needs is incredibly rewarding. I take pride in the strides my students make, especially as they begin to read French in elementary school. My primary objective is to facilitate their advancement and help them realize their full potential, fostering both proficiency and comfort in the French language.
Teaching is not just a profession but my passion, and I'm driven to motivate my students by emphasizing the importance of their language learning journey. Infusing fun into my classroom sessions is key to creating an engaging and dynamic learning environment.
Understanding the importance of this motivation lies in recognizing the unpredictable nature of the future. By preparing children to adapt to various circumstances, they develop resilience and flexibility, crucial traits for navigating an ever-changing world. This motivation encourages a mindset focused on learning and growth, empowering children to thrive regardless of the challenges they may face.
