📚 Get to Know Your School Trustee Candidates!

The Mission DPAC is hosting an All-Candidates Meet & Greet TONIGHT —October 6th from 6:30–8:30 PM at Hatzic Middle School.

With the upcoming election, this is a great opportunity for parents and members of our school community to meet the candidates running for School Trustee, ask questions, and learn more about the people hoping to represent our schools and community.

There won’t be a formal debate or presentations — candidates will each have their own table, making it a more casual opportunity to connect and have conversations.

As a PAC, we encourage our AME families to attend if you’re interested in learning more about the candidates and the role of a School Trustee. An informed community starts with getting to know the people seeking to represent it!

Just a friendly reminder that October Week 3 Hot Lunch orders are due by 11:59 PM on Monday, October 5th!

⏰ Important: Orders must be paid in full by the deadline. Any unpaid orders will be deleted and cancelled, and unfortunately, we are unable to process orders after the deadline.

A special message from Mission DPAC!

DPAC is extending an invitation to all School Trustee Candidates to come and speak to the voters. Everyone in Mission is welcome to attend.

We will be hosting an open house style evening at Hatzic Middle School, Tuesday October 6th from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm, in their small gym (it has finally been re-opened!). Please arrive by 6:15 pm at the latest.

Candidates will each have their own table, giving parents and community
members the opportunity to stop by, introduce themselves, ask questions,
hear about the candidates’ priorities, and have one-on-one conversations
about the upcoming election.

There will be no formal debate or presentations - just an opportunity to
meet the candidates, ask questions, and learn more about the people
running to represent our schools and community.
