Day 2 of Encouragers Summer Day Camp was a hot one! We stayed cool by playing in the shade! Making chalk paint is a favourite activity by all. The children love pretend play and move throughout the play yard as their ideas and stories evolve.

Day 1/5 of Encouragers was busy! Everyone was on the move! Lots of ideas means lots of fun! We are reading the book “One Hen” throughout the week and learning about how we can “let our light shine” this week.

That’s a wrap for Week 2 of our Ontario Outdoor Play Camp! We did all of our favourite things today!

Day 3/3 of Jr. Adventurers Recap!
Today they all work very hard on making soup for a tea party. They added sugar cane, everything bagel spice, treats, ice cream, camping spice, chocolate and so much more. Once finished adding all the ingredients they let it simmer on the stove.
We had some friends be extra silly today causing some big belly laughs
We fought off sharks 🦈 and made a big train going down the slide
We took time to quiet down and listen to the forest, we heard lots of different birds, construction, the rustling of tree and a helicopter.
Then we ended the day playing boys vs girls soccer.

Day 4 of Ontario Outdoor Play Camp was all about finding creatures! They found tomato hornworms, a common garter snake, a toad & a frog! Many children faced their fears and ended up holding the snake with a final release at the end of the day because no one’s mom wanted to take it home 😂
