Here’s a comparison of 2 drawings I did of the same subject matter. I did the one on top about 6 years ago and was never quite happy with how it turned out. What a difference some new techniques and a lot of practice can make!

To say it’s been a long time since I posted something here would be an understatement. Time to get back on the drawing board. I’m working on re-doing the drawing that I have as my cover photo. It’s a drawing that I did a few years ago of one of my sons when he was a baby. I’m not satisfied with the original. I also thought it would be interesting to see how I’ve progressed throughout the years.

Finished my latest drawing today...my youngest frolicking on the beach in Maui. It's a departure from my usual format of close up head shots. I really enjoyed working on this...partly because of the subject matter. ❤️
