Twenty years ago, I helped a young family buy this home as they began their journey together.

Their daughter was just arriving into the world, and this house became the backdrop for so many of life’s biggest moments. ❤️

Over the years, it was transformed into a beautiful family home, complete with a renovated upper floor, an incredible basement living space, a three-bay shop, pool, hot tub and 0.37 acres to enjoy.

Then came the November 2021 flood. The basement was devastated, and the years that followed brought countless challenges as the family worked through insurance and tried to move forward.

This one held decades of memories and a whole lot of love. ❤️

My seller is a long-time friend. I met her when I first moved to Merritt, when we were both a lot younger and my then-boyfriend (now husband!) was her good friend.

She raised her three boys here. There were birthdays, holidays, everyday busyness, quiet moments, and a million memories made within these walls. 💫

But she also poured herself into this home.

She renovated it, updated it, and made it her own - creating a beautiful kitchen with high-end appliances, adding gorgeous hardwood floors, and putting so much thought, time and money into making the home feel fresh, beautiful and almost new again. 🏡
