His life quickly took a turn into the depths of an underground world, where the appeal of money and a high-end lifestyle landed him in the thick of organized crime, which led him down a dark road of drugs and gun trafficking. Denis managed to survive two attempts on his life during a violent home invasion, where the gun miraculously jammed, saving his life.
After a serious conviction and the possibility of being sentenced to eight years in the penitentiary, Denis went through a radical transformation and found his true calling in spirituality. Denis became a Certified Holistic Practitioner, Meditation Instructor, Reiki Master, and host to Sound Bath Ceremonies.
While in Prison with the Warden’s approval, Denis was able to use his newfound skills with the inmates, where the program director started noticing positive changes in the men and decided to integrate these healing spiritual practices into their program.
