I used to use having to be on the road a lot an excuse to not stay on plan. But it’s all excuses. Cut the bu****it. Hold yourself accountable. And YES that’s froot loops! Eating on plan doesn’t mean you never get anything fun. It’s all about eating the proper ratios and keeping track, this bag was measured and weighed and tracked on my planner! 🙌🏻🤍

Finally back in the gym after a car accident Monday night! 🙌🏻🙏 Here’s the thing.. No one can MAKE you workout. You can hire a trainer, you can get a gym buddy, but YOU have to show up for yourself. ♥️

Oh hi! I’ve been gone for a hot minute! Life got WILDLY busy with COVID-19 and moving and blending two families!
BUT! I’m back. And boy am I excited to let you know what I’ve been learning! Keep your eyes peeled over the next couple days for updates!
First update! I’ve been diagnosed by my amazing naturopath doctor with an estrogen dominance! This leads to an incredible amount of symptoms that I’ve been dealing with on a daily basis. I’m working with her to work on this and the biggest step is eating a whole food diet and eliminating dairy. I’ll be sharing my recipes on my story so follow along and feel free to share any recipes you have as well! ♥️

Heeey! 👋 it’s been a minute! Okay... it’s been 2 months...COVID-19 kicked me off the tracks. I lost my whole sense of being. My mental, and physical well-being were not well. I was in survival mode.
March 15th was my official lay off day. April 14th my trainer reached out to me and said we needed to start scheduling FaceTime training because he could see I wasn’t completing my online training he was providing me.
Guess what? I couldn’t even answer him. I was so ashamed of how far I had sunk, and I couldn’t even think of restarting, again. I was mad. Mad at myself. Mad at the world, I couldn’t even function.
The next day he texts me again. And I say, I can’t do it. He didn’t give up. He convinced me to get back up and scheduled a session for the next day. That first session sucked. But then we scheduled 3 more, and I showed up each time. I complained each time. I was not eating properly. But I kept showing up. We’ve been consistently doing 3 workouts a week for a month now. And my mental health has skyrocketed. I’m finally ready to commit to eating exactly to my macros again, to increase my workouts back up to 5 days a week and get back on track.
I COULD NOT HAVE DONE THIS ON MY OWN.
This is why you hire a professional. Mike is the reason I’m here today. Mike is the reason I am back out of that dark space. Mike is the reason I didn’t put 50 pounds back on like I would’ve before. It’s not a cop-out to have help in your corner.
Who else is struggling with this “new” life? Tell me what you’re doing to keep active! And thank your trainer for kicking you in the butt! ❤️

REALTALK for a quick minute here!
I got laid off from BOTH of my jobs due to COVID-19. This SHOOK me. I have never been completely jobless since I began working in 2010. My whole identity was based on my success in my career!
So now that I am essentially *stuck* at home for up to 15 weeks, one would think that I would have tons of time to meal prep and workout.... which I do... but guess what I have not been doing? 😬🤭 The stress and anxiety of this all has been crippling me. And through this all my trainer has been periodically checking in on me and tonight finally gave me the kick in the butt I needed to get myself moving again. And tonight I got my first workout in for the week!
This is the EXACT reason I hired him. I don’t need to babysat in a gym, I don’t need someone to take bad food away from me, I need someone to check in on me and make sure that I’m mentally okay, so that the physical stuff can get accomplished. It is 100% OKAY to need help in this. Just reach out and find someone who will be in your corner consistently cheering you on.
Be grateful for the life you have and keep moving forward. I’m using this isolation time to enjoy the little things. Tons of time spent with my daughter, extra cuddles and walks with my pup, some Netflix bingeing and some much needed spring clean and purging.

Anyone who knows me, knows that this weight-loss/health journey has been the absolute toughest thing I have ever done. And even though I’ll never actually be “done”, as you can always work on your health, I decided to get a tattoo to honour my journey this weekend. So much blood, sweat, and tears have been shed over that barbell, and I couldn’t be more proud of how far I’ve come! Now every time I’m doing a workout I’ll see this in the mirror and remind myself how bada$$ I really am! ❤️ 💪🏻
