Supporting: Maple Creek Childcare Center
Maple Creek, like many rural communities, continues to face a shortage of licensed childcare spaces. Limited access makes it difficult for parents to return to work and places added strain on local families and businesses.
Through community collaboration led by residents and Co-operatives First, a new licensed childcare co-operative is being developed in partnership with the Town, Rural Municipality, and Nekaneet First Nation. This initiative will help create new childcare spaces, strengthening early learning access for Maple Creek and surrounding areas.

This bursary supports youth aged 8 to 18 in southwest Saskatchewan, helping them pursue agricultural education or invest in agricultural business endeavours. It exists to carry forward a legacy of leadership, hard work, and commitment to rural life and the ag industry.
