The Marketing Plan
Also a scam! Worse, it is a Ponzi Scheme! It’s a pyramid!

And when I was first looking at it I tore into my referrer and quite harshly told her to GET OUT!

I used to participate in an actual pyramid scheme. And I still shop at one.

“Everyone knows” that Amway is a Ponzi scheme and a pyramid…not everyone knows that the Amway Marketing Plan has been THE Standard by which ALL similar marketing plans have been judged by the Federal Trade Commission since 1974.

Why? Because legally, ethically, and in every other way, Amway’s Marketing Plan is NOT a “scheme.”

FEMA, Federal Emergency Management Agency, provides lots of training regarding emergency response and one of the topics they really maintain—in each of the classes I’ve participated in—has been “span of control.”

Per FEMA, and also seen in MANY organizations structure charts, is a span of control of one leader having 5-7 direct reports.

Beyond that it’s just too cumbersome for one person to effectively lead everyone else.

To tap a bit of “Bible,” Moses learned this same lesson from Jethro, who told him to spread the weight of responsibility instead of carrying it himself.

I was SUPER negative and my trust went WAY down when I first began to look at the BG wealth Marketing Structure.

When I got past being pissy about a topic I had not explored, I remembered FEMA and lots of other “plans” I’ve seen.

In the BG thing, 1 person (say, my referrer) begins leading 1-5 people.

Span of “control.” Influence would be a better word here. No one likes being “controlled.”

A BEAUTY here: NO money changes hands—EVER—in the BG Marketing Plan.

My referrer is a “level 1.” She’s brought 5 people in, and some of us have referred others.

BG pays her. Not any one of us.

Again, that is a marketing spend. Instead of buying ads, they (like THOUSANDS of other businesses that have “affiliate marketing” plans) pay people for RESULTS. And they don’t pay until AFTER the results have been…resulted.

Smart, I think.

Part of the opportunity that no one talks about because it’s easy to focus on the money is this: leadership development.

I work in healthcare and my business is I’m a Fractional Chief Culture Officer.

It’s super common that people get “promoted” because they’ve “been here a long time” or they’re good at their technical skill.

Great, but DOING a task is a very different skill set than LEADING others to do that task.

Hidden within BG’s structure is the opportunity for someone with no pedigree or resume history to DEVELOP themselves as a leader.

That chance likely does not exist where YOU work, where promotion often is tied to “the budget” or waiting for someone else to “die, quit, retire, get fired.”

And anyway, promotion does NOT mean you’re a leader, Only that you have a position of leadership.

BG Wealth DOES provide that opportunity—and for all the negativity in the rumor control mill, the people that do reach those levels will have EARNED it. At least to a point.

All of the money involved in bonuses or “salary” comes directly from BG itself, NOT from participants getting in.

And the money that I have deposited—I’m super new and not ready to begin withdrawals—has been immediately deposited into my DSJ account and was immediately available for trading.

The BG Wealth/ DSJ Exchange thing is a “scam” and a “Ponzi scheme” because the angry internet SAYS that it is…

My assessment IS completely subjective. Based only on my own reasoning as I have tried to think my way through this “opportunity” that is BOTH intriguing and appealing AND ALSO kinda sketchy and a bit scary.

And so I studied the information provided AND I have gambled my own money AND I have read a bunch of the negative rumor mill too.

I hope that DSJ/ BG Wealth continues to do well. If it does, it will be VERY lucrative for myself and my family—and for everyone who chooses to participate.

I have that same hope for my 401K, for that matter.

And after all of that, I have a plan for investing some more of my own money.

I hope that this will become a GOOD investment. If it does not, I also understand that sometimes 401K’s go down (mine IS currently down!) and I have lived through 2008 when we all discovered that “real estate always goes up” is not a true statement.

Make choices that YOU are comfortable with when you look at whoever lives in YOUR mirror.
