🐍🦎 Reptile Week at CEY Childcare Kains! 🐢🌿
Our children had an exciting hands-on learning experience with a special visit from Reptilia! Through observing and learning about different reptiles up close, the children explored the natural world while building curiosity, respect for living things, and a love for discovery. ✨
A wonderful Montessori-inspired experience bringing nature and learning together! 🌱🐍

🧡 Every Child Matters🧡

Today, our children came together wearing orange and participating in meaningful art activities in recognition of National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. Through age-appropriate learning, creativity, and conversation, we honour the children who never returned home, the Survivors of residential schools, and their families and communities.

Even our youngest learners can begin to understand the importance of kindness, respect, belonging, and making sure every child feels valued and safe.

🧡 Every Child Matters today and every day.🧡

🍁 Montessori Infant Exploration 🍁
Our infants explored a beautiful leaf-themed activity using magnets to strengthen their fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and concentration. Through hands-on exploration, they practiced grasping, problem-solving, and discovering cause and effect in a calm, engaging Montessori environment. Every experience supports curiosity and builds confidence through purposeful play.

☀️ Summer Camp Fun: Rain Cloud Science! ☁️
Our Summer Camp campers explored the magic of science with a hands-on rain cloud experiment! Using water, shaving cream, and food colouring, children observed how "rain" falls through clouds while building curiosity, making predictions, and discovering the wonders of the world around them. Learning through exploration is what Montessori is all about!
