Pupil Premium strategy statements are due by 31 December. But the work behind them is happening now.

The Education Endowment Foundation latest guidance encourages schools to keep their strategy visible throughout the year, using what they know about pupils’ needs and progress to inform decisions and adapt support where needed.

At St George’s Primary, Maria Chambers explains how having an immediate view of their Pupil Premium pupils and their progress helps the team identify where support is needed without waiting for the next data cycle.

Our very own Sarah Hawkes is getting ready to take on the Run Leicester Half Marathon on Sunday 11 October!

We’ve been keeping track of her training, and the numbers are nothing but impressive:

📍 227 miles covered
👟 50 runs over 26 weeks
🏃 12 miles longest run
⏱️ 11:38 average pace per mile

And here’s a little maths to put that into perspective: 227 miles is roughly the distance from London to Paris and back! 💪

We’re so proud of Sarah and can’t wait to cheer her on as she takes on the big day, all in support of LOROS Hospice 💙.
