It's that time of year! Fieldnotes: Speaker Series is starting back up again on Friday afternoons! đŸ“šâœī¸đŸ—Ŗī¸

For those who may not be familiar, Fieldnotes provides a welcoming space for all. It serves as a canvas for your academic, creative, and abstract musings, allowing you to share your research with our community. We invite you to share excerpts of your dissertation, a paper in the making for an upcoming conference, a captivating term paper, or even an experimental, creative creation. In the spirit of intellectual exchange, we echo the words of Horace, "aut delectare aut prodesse" -- either to please or to educate.

If the idea of becoming a Fieldnotes Speaker intrigues you, please don't hesitate to reach out to our Academic coordinators Fatima and Maya! The presentations should last 20 minutes, followed by a 40-minute discussion window. You also have the option to invite your supervisor, or another professor to respond to your paper at your discretion. This is also a great way to prepare for conferences or to hash out half-baked ideas, and, additionally, it looks great on your CV or Pathfinder.
