Two years ago I revisited my relationship with alcohol…

Not my first trip to the rodeo.

Every year around this time, I begin a period of long meditation and reflection.

I consider what’s working and what’s not in regards to the commitments I made to God, my family and myself.

I surrender.

I seek guidance and support as needed.

I think that EVERYONE has STUFF that they can look at from time to time.

Whether it is an addiction, association, business, relationship, etc… it’s only when we are aware to ourselves that we can make changes and EVOLVE.

Not easy at times and I know for certain that there is not one set path for everyone.

Whatever it is that someone wants to CHANGE when they take a good look at themselves…have FAITH that it is possible.

Happiness and Freedom does EXIST.

It does!

If I can be of any inspiration today, I’ll share one question I asked myself, that a friend and mentor once asked me about drinking…

BTW you can ask this question about anything you wish to explore and examine in any area of your life…

“What’s the UPSIDE to it?”

When you have an answer you can make a choice to seek the right guidance and support…

This will often take courage.

When it came to drinking alcohol, I asked myself what the “UPSIDE” was in my own experience…

I couldn’t find one.

Two Years later I still cannot so here…I AM.

Grateful for everyone on my journey that continues to support and encourage. 🙏

The Best Mentors I’ve ever worked with didn’t sugar coat anything or try to share the STUFF that only sounded good.

There’s too much of that in today’s personal development and business environment…
