Forest City Guitar Lessons student Isaak played his first gig at the Squeaky Wheel Bike Co-op tonight for their Gears #2 - A Concert! Series.

After just under 2 years of lessons, Isaak is writing his own music and has now started performing in the live music scene. Congratulations Isaak!

Our SUMMER RECORDING PROJECT started off to a strong start today with Peter!

After just 1 year of lessons with Forest City Guitar Lessons (and NO prior guitar playing experience), this pr***en DOMINATED his recording session, finishing multiple takes of the whole song in under 2 hours!

Amazing job Peter!

Happy Birthday Jack White!

Known for The White Stripes, The Raconteurs, and his solo project work, Jack White is a prolific songwriter & guitarist known for his unique style, unrestricted by conventional guitar playing dogma.

As a guitar teacher, I can attest that "Seven Nation Army" is arguably one of the MOST requested songs to learn by students of all ages. Talk about a timeless riff!
