This year the students in grade 2 and 3 had the opportunity take part in baseball club. Students that committed to the club received a tshirt! All equipment, tshirts and the program itself was all donated by the amazing Toronto Blue Jays!

North Woods families came together last week to celebrate our new playground. Huge thanks to the families and community for their many donations and kindness to make it all happen! What a truly great school and community we belong to! 💕

Special thanks to the families who treated the staff at NorthWoods to a fantastic lunch of sandwiches, wraps, fruit, chips, candy, cookies and fry pies! Thank you for all the treats! We appreciate being appreciated so much! Teaching all the kids at North Woods is what we love to do!💕

🏃‍♀️🏅 Today is our Grade 3–6 Track and Field Day! 🏅🏃‍♂️

Good luck to all participants! We are so proud of each and every one of you for your hard work, determination, and school spirit. Have fun, do your best, and cheer each other on throughout the day!

We will be watching the weather closely, and if anything changes, some events may need to be postponed. Updates will be shared if needed. 🌦️

Our 4/5 and 5/6 classes welcomed Lisa Hood from the Blyth Festival for an engaging drama workshop. Students participated in drama games, created tableaus, and worked in groups to develop freeze frame stories that they shared with their classmates. It was a great opportunity to build creativity, collaboration, and confidence through drama activities. 🎭
