We had a group from Iron Springs today. They got to learn how to change a tire and other important things to make sure they have a safe drive. Then after a tour of the Polytechnic that included a stop in the wind turbine shop, we returned to SACI and taught them how to wire a switch and a lightbulb. So great to have students in the building!!
How did we get the cars lined up so neatly you ask? .

We had another great week of farm visits. This time we went to Miyanaga Farms, Shipwheel Cattle Feeders, Johnson’s Fresh Farms, and then tagged along with Inside Education and went to Mans Organic Greenhouses and Kolk Farms.
This has been a great opportunity for students to learn about farm life. The farmers have been very generous with their time and produce. Students went home with a huge bag of potatoes and a pumpkin.
