Meet our Practicum Coordinator!
Brent Gaudreau is a dedicated and experienced member of the School of Health Sciences, where he plays a key role in supporting the growth, professionalism, and success of students within the Massage Therapy program. As Practicum Coordinator and Faculty Instructor, he works closely with learners throughout their educational journey, guiding them through clinical experiences, reinforcing best practices, and helping them build confidence as emerging healthcare professionals. He is committed to building classroom communities where students feel safe, included, valued, and supported as they learn, make mistakes, and develop the competence required to thrive in real world clinical settings.
Known for his calm demeanor, clear communication, and approachable teaching style, Brent brings nearly a decade of post secondary instructional experience to his work. His background in Athletic Therapy, Massage Therapy, and in high performance sport allows him to blend academic instruction with hands on clinical reasoning, ensuring students develop both technical skills and the professional habits essential for success.
Whether teaching orthopedic assessment or techniques he aims to awaken curiosity, confidence, and joy in learning to build connection, lower barriers, and tailor learning experiences to each student. Brent’s teaching is grounded in compassion, intentional support, and a belief in the transformative power of education. He strives not only to help students build strong clinical foundations, but also to cultivate resilience, self belief, and a lifelong readiness to learn which are qualities he views as essential for both academic and professional success. Brent focuses on relationship building, individualized guidance, and connecting students with resources that help them develop the skills they need to succeed.
