The first annual Moto Instincts Rider's Cup is going to be a blast! Entry to the event is free so come down to say hi, meet other local riders, and get some BBQ in you!

Welcome to the first annual Moto Instincts Rider's Cup. A skills competition event to celebrate a successful inaugural season and to connect with our students, our friends and our community to show off their bikes, BBQ some good food and most importantly to crown the 2026 Moto Instincts Rider's Cup Champion 🔥🔥🔥 A series of fun and challenging mini-games where friend's can compete with one another in a seriously unserious way!

Entry to the event is completely free and we encourage everyone to come out to just say hi and hang out for the day. If you want to compete in the Rider's Cup, it will be $20 per ticket and $10 for any of our alumni. You can use your own bike or try one of our BMW training bikes.

Entry Requirements: Competitors must present a valid Class 6 driver's license, complete a waiver prior to entering the competition area.

Required Safety Gear: Full motorcycle-specific riding gear is mandatory, including a helmet, jacket, gloves, and boots or high-top riding shoes.

Saturday, Sep 5 from Noon to 6PM at the Moto lot: 3599 56 Ave E by the Airport.

On Saturday, Aug. 8, 2026, at 8 p.m., police responded to reports of someone riding an electric motorcycle through the northwest community of Citadel. The bike was travelling more than 70 km/h, speeding through green spaces, on walking paths & on the wrong side of the road & passing vehicles in the residential neighbourhood. The driver, a youth, did not have the proper license, insurance, or registration.

🔴 The driver was issued 7 tickets & charged with Dangerous Driving.
