On behalf of the Saltair Community Centre Society, we were happy to present a $750 bursary to Saltair resident Jaxon Hotte. We were also pleased to present the Saltair District Residents Association bursary of $560 to fellow Saltair resident Ethan Johnson.

It was great to see so many young people being recognized for their achievements and future plans. The energy in the room was inspiring.

🌬️ Pranayama Immersion
Expand the Breath of Life!

May 11–15

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
9:45 – 11:45 AM

Wednesday
1:00 – 3:00 PM

at Saltair Community Centre gym

A week-long immersion into the subtle and powerful practice of pranayama — where breath becomes the vehicle for awareness, balance, and transformation.

Over 10 hours together, we will explore:

• How asana prepares the body for pranayama
• The relationship between posture, breath, and prāṇic flow
• Foundational pranayama practices — calming, energizing, cleansing
• Supporting nervous system regulation and mental clarity
• Building a simple, sustainable home practice
• Pranayama as a bridge toward quieting the fluctuations of the mind

Prāṇa is the life force that animates all living systems. Prāṇāyāma is the expansion and refinement of that life force within.

Through the Iyengar method, we prepare the body with precision so the breath can move with ease and intelligence. This is a subtle, deeply transformative practice.
