๐ฌ๏ธ Pranayama Immersion
Expand the Breath of Life!
May 11โ15
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
9:45 โ 11:45 AM
Wednesday
1:00 โ 3:00 PM
at Saltair Community Centre gym
A week-long immersion into the subtle and powerful practice of pranayama โ where breath becomes the vehicle for awareness, balance, and transformation.
Over 10 hours together, we will explore:
โข How asana prepares the body for pranayama
โข The relationship between posture, breath, and prฤแนic flow
โข Foundational pranayama practices โ calming, energizing, cleansing
โข Supporting nervous system regulation and mental clarity
โข Building a simple, sustainable home practice
โข Pranayama as a bridge toward quieting the fluctuations of the mind
Prฤแนa is the life force that animates all living systems. Prฤแนฤyฤma is the expansion and refinement of that life force within.
Through the Iyengar method, we prepare the body with precision so the breath can move with ease and intelligence. This is a subtle, deeply transformative practice.
