Sheena Lane is a mom to a wonderful little boy and has worked as a Developmental Services Worker and Educational Assistant for years. Sheena has been studying American Sign Language since 2010 and is a graduate of the Social Services Worker and Developmental Services Worker program at Fanshawe College. Sheena is excited about offering WeeHands classes in her community! Sheena shares, "I have a sev

en year old son who is non verbal and has Down Syndrome. Sign language has helped my son be able to express his wants and needs more clearly. My son uses ASL to communicate as well as a communication device (he prefers to sign!). I was amazed at how quickly he was learning to sign! I can’t imagine where we would be today without ASL. Thank you WeeHands for giving my family the tools to communicate with our sweet little boy, Soham! I am excited about helping others experience the world of sign language with their children. ASL is for children of all ages and abilities!"

Sorry it took me so long to post about summer classes! I was waiting on a summer schedule for another commitment. Here it is:

WeeHands - Sign With Me at Play and at Home will be offered on Tuesday's, starting July 3rd and run all summer. 10:00-10:45. This class is appropriate for anyone new to sign language and babies 0 - 1.5

WeeHands - Signing Tots will be offered on Thursday's and run all summer. 10:00-10:45. This class is appropriate for anyone who has taken the previous class and would like to learn additional signs and songs. Ages 1-3.

I will be taking 10 children per class. Message me for more details.
