Queen's Epilepsy Society (QES) is a student run organization/club making its way to campus. Help us bring epilepsy out of the shadows!

One of the main objectives of the club is to raise awareness and to provide information regarding epilepsy both within the student population as well as in Kingston. Our second goal is to provide support and assistance to members of the Queen’s community who are suffering from this neurological disorder and/or are personally affected by it. Purple Day is nearly 2 days away! What are we doing this year? Of course, the classic bake sale but we're also demonstrating seizure first aid! Drop by the ARC anytime on Wednesday, March 26th, between 10am to 3pm. You might just learn something new!

Queen's Epilepsy Society is working with the Epilepsy Resource Center of Southeastern Ontario in hosting a series of speaker nights to provide insights on epilepsy. We invite you to the first of four events on Thursday, September 20th.

Topic: What is Epilepsy?

Speaker: Dr. MacDonald

When: Thursday, September 20th at 7pm

Where: Ongwanada Resource Centre 191 Portsmouth Ave. (Beside KFL&A Health Unit)

Dr. MacDonald, a pediatric neurologist, will be providing an
introduction to epilepsy with plenty of time to answer your questions!

Everyone is welcome. Refreshments will be provided.
