Local Maple Syrup. 30 acre sugar bush located on Washburn Road in Sunbury Ontario. My husband and I tap 400 trees and manually gather each season.

What do you do if you find mold on your maple syrup? What you do not do is throw it away!! Skim off the mold, put it in a pot and bring it to a boil for about two minutes. You can then put it back in your clean container and it will be good to go!
Remember once you open your jug of syrup it needs to be kept in the fridge. Unopened jugs can be stored on your pantry shelf
