Donna & Andy - Music Performers

09/26/2026

It sounds like Mother Nature is holding off on the rain today so we can do our Donna & Andy children's show at Deep Roots Music Cooperative Music Fest without adding umbrellas to the gear we are packing. Join Donna & Andy - Music Performers at the tent in Waterfront Park in Wolfville today at 1:15 for fun songs, dancing, Ugly stick and washboard playing and balloon swords for the kids (and maybe even the adults!). Shawn is joining us and we are going to have a super time! www.donnaandandy.com

We are thrilled to win the 2026 East Coast Music Association (ECMA) Children's Artist of the Year Award as we celebrate 30 years of singing together, composing, recording and publishing our original music. How time flies when you are having fun! We want to say a big thank you to Mark Adam our recording engineer and drummer, Tom Richards who played trombone and tuba, Mike Reese who played banjo and guitar, and June Reese who added her fun giggle on the end of our single, Jiggle Wiggle Freeze! Your musical contributions made this award possible! Special mention to Richard I. Bennett who created the art for our illustrated children's book, Ed the Invisible Dragon - another part of the Donna & Andy entertainment package!

Today we received a nomination for Children's Artist of the Year from the East Coast Music Association (ECMA). That excitement never gets old!! We have 2 ECMA awards sitting on the mantle as part of the 8 ECMA nominations we have received during our 30-year career performing for kids. To perform for children is our greatest delight and to be recognized for our efforts by our ECMA colleagues is an honour. Check out our most recent single "Jiggle Wiggle Freeze!" recorded with Mark Adam, Mike Reese, and Tom Richards. https://donnaandandy.com/product/jiggle-wiggle-freeze-by-donna-rhodenizer/
