We are proud to celebrate Roseanna Hunter on her co-op placement at Wiigwas Senior & Elder Care!

Throughout her placement, Roseanna gained experience in both the Activities and Housekeeping departments. She assisted residents with activities such as bingo, cardio drumming, painting, ice cream socials and musical visits, while also helping residents get to and from events. In housekeeping, she learned valuable skills in laundry services, room cleaning, and maintaining a welcoming environment for residents.

Roseanna’s kind, gentle and caring nature has made a lasting impression on both residents and staff. Her empathy and kind demeanour have helped her build meaningful relationships.

A special thank you to Wiigwas Senior & Elder Care and Roseanna’s mentor, Sheelagh, for their support guidance and commitment to her learning experience.

We are proud to celebrate Kylie, a student in our full day Co-op program, for her outstanding experience at the Kenora Veterinary Clinic.

Throughout her placement, Kylie has consistently demonstrated strong initiative and a willingness to learn. Her responsibilities have included maintaining a clean, sanitized clinic environment, restocking medical supplies, preparing kennels and assisting with animal care, supporting laboratory testing such as bloodwork and urinalysis, and observing a range of surgical procedures.
Kylie continues to demonstrate a strong eagerness to learn new skills.
As a result of her hard work, professionalism and dedication, Kylie has been offered a full-time summer student position at the clinic.
We extend a sincere thanks to the team at the Kenora Veterinary Clinic for their continued support of our co-op program and for providing such a rich and meaningful experience for our students.
