Congratulations to our incoming 2025/26 admin and teaching teams! 💚✨🫶🏼

🚨 Important election information! 🚨

As our second semester of this school year is nearing its end, the Unite Dance Club will be holding elections for its 2025/26 executive team!

The current executive team will be holding information sessions on April 2nd over Zoom regarding what each administrative position entails. These meetings are mandatory; if you do not attend the sessions you choose to apply for, you will not be considered for that position. All Zoom links for each meeting including their times will be located in our bio shortly. All executive positions are open for application and descriptions can be found on our story. This includes:

1. One president.
2. Two vice-presidents.
3. One secretary.
4. Two external coordinators.
5. Two internal coordinators.
6. Two treasurers.
7. Two events coordinators.
8. One marketing and recruitment manager.

We are also looking for dance teachers! This is separate from the admin position application but can be included in your email application for admin if you choose to apply for both. Please email us a short summary by Sunday April 6th by 11:59 PM PST of your dance teaching experience (or if you have none), how many years of dance experience you have, and why you think you would be a good fit!

If you are interested in applying, please email [email protected] by Sunday April 6th at 11:59 pm. No submissions will be accepted after this time.
Please do not apply until after the meetings. Your application must contain answers to the following questions. Please keep your answers simple:

1. What are your 1st and 2nd choices for executive position?
2. How many years of dance experience do you have (or no dance experience)?
3. How many years have you been in the club (or no experience in the club)?
4. Why do you think you would be a good fit?
5. Are you enrolled as a full time student for both semesters of the 2025/26 winter term at UBCO?
6. Are there any questions or concerns you have or things you think we should know?

Here is our March drop-in class schedule! A reminder that classes are located in the Hangar at UBCO and are $5/drop-in or $30/rest of the semester. If you paid for a year-long membership last semester, you are covered as well! So excited to see everyone dancing again🫶🏼

Danceology is officially complete and we couldn’t be more happy about how it went! Thank you to all the dancers who dedicated countless hours to rehearsals, the executive team for making the show possible, and everyone else who orchestrated the show in the process! A special thanks to our UDC president Simoné, this show could not have happened without her commitment and hard work .kruger 💚🫶🏼

We are so excited to announce that tickets for Danceology 2025 are now available! A reminder that we have two shows on March 8: one from 4:00-5:30pm and another from 7:00-8:30pm. There will be lots of UDC performances and guest performers at both!

✨ Hey dancers! ✨

We are excited to announce that solo/duo/trio sign-up for Danceology is now open! Please note, we may not be able to accommodate all sign-ups if a lot are received, so priority may be given to graduating dancers. We do not have designated choreographers for solos/duos as well, so you will need to choreograph your own dance. You will only dance once in either the 4 PM or 7 PM show to accommodate as many as possible. The form is linked below and in our bio. ✨Exciting news!✨

We have merch for the 2024/25 year! We are selling three items: a t-shirt, sweatshirt, and sweatpants. The sweatshirt has the UDC logo on the back with the club name on the front, whereas the t-shirt and sweatpants have our UDC logo on the front! 👕

The deadline to order is February 1st, 2025 and can be done either through the link below or in our bio. Please note, you must prepay for your items IN CASH at one of your rehearsals. If you are not in Danceology but still want to buy merch, please DM the instagram and we will arrange a time to meet. Prices are listed on the second slide along with available sizing!
